My creative mission.
Every story begins with a question: Whose story has been forgotten?
As an author of gothic fantasy, historical fiction, and romance, I believe stories have the power to preserve history, bridge cultures, and remind us of the humanity we all share. My faith serves as the foundation of my writing, guiding me to explore themes of love, sacrifice, redemption, hope, and the enduring light that can be found even in humanity's darkest moments.
Whether I am uncovering overlooked chapters of history or creating entirely new worlds born from myth and imagination, my goal remains the same: to tell stories that honor the resilience of the human spirit. At the heart of every novel is a love story—not simply because romance captivates us, but because love has the power to transform lives, overcome prejudice, inspire sacrifice, and reveal the very best of who we can become.
Above all, I hope my stories remind readers that every culture, every generation, and every life has a story worth telling. If, somewhere within my pages, you find a piece of yourself, then I have accomplished exactly what I set out to do.

The inspirations behind my stories.
History has always been at the heart of my imagination. I am endlessly fascinated by the people, traditions, and forgotten moments that have shaped civilizations across the world. Every novel begins with curiosity—a desire to understand the cultures, histories, and legends that inspire each story.
My work draws inspiration from many forms of storytelling. I admire the timeless romance of Jane Austen, the gothic legacy of Bram Stoker, and the richly imagined worlds of Diana Wynne Jones, J.R.R. Tolkien, and Ursula K. Le Guin. Shen Tao’s The Poet Empress is an especially meaningful influence, as her lyrical writing style is among my favorites. I am also deeply inspired by Reyna Grande’s A Ballad of Love and Glory, a recent historical-fiction discovery that strongly resonates with my own goal of bringing overlooked histories to life through intimate, sweeping romance.
Beyond literature, period dramas such as Poldark and Anne with an E, together with Chinese dramas like Pursuit of Jade, have shaped my love for immersive worlds, emotional storytelling, and romances set against times of conflict and change. The gothic atmosphere and tragic beauty of Castlevania have influenced me as well—from the video games I grew up playing on the Nintendo 64 to Netflix’s animated adaptation. Together, these stories inspire me to blend history, romance, faith, fantasy, and the gothic into worlds that feel both imaginative and emotionally true.
Although my debut novel explores the forgotten history surrounding the Torreón Massacre and the Cristero War, my vision as an author reaches far beyond a single place or period. I hope to write stories inspired by cultures, histories, folklore, and myths from around the world. Some will be grounded in real historical events, while others will unfold in entirely original fantasy realms. No matter the setting, my goal is always the same: to create unforgettable romances that celebrate the beauty of different cultures, invite empathy, and leave readers with a sense of wonder long after the final page.

Fun facts about me.
Beyond writing, I have a passion for KPOP and have been fortunate enough to see artists like Monsta X, Enhypen, DPR Ian, and Junhee live! My love for Anime, C-dramas, K-dramas, and telenovelas continues to fuel my imagination. When I'm not writing, you might find me indulging in delicious boba tea, authentic Mexican food, savory Chinese food, or fresh sushi. My home is also bustling with life, as I share it with nine pet birds and a charming chihuahua named Lolita.
